The number of doctors from Finland, working in Estonia, has increased over years, Estonian business news portal Dv.ee reported referring to Meditsiiniuudised.ee.
Finland's Healthcare Department informed that a hundred Finnish doctors worked in Estonia last year, while in 2005 there were only 15 doctors employed in Estonia.
In 2012, 850 Finnish doctors found employment abroad. They are motivated to work abroad mainly by options to do scientific work, to get additional education, and to perform other development projects, reported LETA.
