Estonian Prime Minister Andrus Ansip said that he plans to have a meeting with Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev in April, writes ERR.
Speaking in Vikerraadio, Ansip said that the meeting would be held in the framework of the Baltic Sea environmental protection conference to be held in St. Petersburg on April 5 and 6.
According to Ansip, there are indications that there will be bilateral meetings between him and Medvedev at the conference.
He added that it was not the first time that he and Medvedev were meeting and that the two had met also in Laos.
Ansip said, however, that if the main issues in such large conferences take more time than planned, there is no guarantee that small planned meetings take place It would be Ansip’s first visit to Russia as Prime Minister of Estonia.
