The Christmas Market Barometertallinn survey conducted by the British retail postal service Post Office Ltd. described Estonia as a special and stress-free location to spend Christmas, which it said was in part due to cheap airfares.
Tallinn is followed by Budapest and Prague as the cheapest locations, according to Post Office's website.
Factors such as housing, two cups of coffee, dinner and wine plus transportation are taken into account. A two-day Christmas trip in Tallinn is calculated to cost 460 euros per person.
