The beautiful Pirita Beach, located near Tallinn, the capital and largest city of Estonia, is the center of European windsurfing, from 28th June until 7th July.
The NeilPryde Baltic Cup Tallinn, considered as the most important windsurfing event of the Baltics, is gearing up for a collection of tight races. The internationally recognized Formula Windsurfing class racing series is counting for the world rankings.
The Tallinn stage prepares to crown an overall winner after races in Lithuania and the final contest, which will take place in Latvia.
For the first time this year the NeilPryde Baltic Cup Windsurfing Regatta will be carried out under four different windsurfing classes: Formula Windsurfing, RS:X, Techno 293 and Raceboard. A new Kite Race will also be featured.
Then, Pirita Beach also hosts two important European and world-class windsurfing competitions: the Formula Windsurfing European Cup and the NeilPryde RS:X Youth European Windsurfing Championships.
The event brings to Pirita together nearly 100 participants. The current leader of the European Windsurfing Cup - Valentin Brault - will also participate, not to mention Martin Ervin, currently lying in third place on the FW world ranking.
