In mid-June 2011 there were 7,300 flats in Tallinn looking for new owners, writes LETA/Äripäev.ee, citing the real estate portal City24.ee.
The number of flats that are put up for sale has grown by nearly a thousand in comparison to the first few months of this year.
As of June 17, the average asking price for a square metre in a flat in Tallinn was 1,287 euros. This was by 34% lower than the peak price level during the boom years.
In spring 2007 the average asking price for flats in Tallinn was 1,953 euros per sq metre.
