Per Brinkenberg, manager of the new Peugeot dealer K.W. Bruun Estonia, forecasts that the car sales market will drop 10 pct this year and faces a slight fall also next year.
“We forecast the sales volume of new cars to total 28,000 cars in Estonia in 2008 which is 10 pct less than last year. The sales figures of Peugeot should amount about 1,000 cars,” Brinkenberg said in an online interview to aripaev.ee.
In 2009, we forecast that about 26,000 new cars are bought and Peugeot’s market share amounts 6.5 pct by then, Brinkenberg added.
“The overall car market will definitely change in the future: more green cars, new conceptions, less producers etc,” he noted.
