At the same time 86 percent more laptop computers were sold in 2007 than in 2006, which shows the continuing triumph of laptop computers in Estonia, Ehatamm-Koppel said.
Besides, Ehatamm-Koppel said, characteristic of last year was growth in the sale of foreign computer makers such as Dell, HP and Acer, while sale of all domestic computers fell.
For this year IT Grupp forecast growth in international computer manufacturers' turnover, and the growth will mainly be at the expense of domestic computer makers.
The turnover of the total market of laptop and desktop computers plus servers will remain at the 2007 level, IT Grupp forecast.
