Research seminar in Estonia

* The Nordic countries and Estonia invest heavily in research. The Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Estonia, the Nordic Research Board, the Nordic Innovation Centre and Nordic Energy Research have organised a seminar in Tallinn on 3 April to discuss research and innovation.

The seminar will be opened by Ene Ergma, President of the Estonian parliament and Kalli Klement, head of the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Estonia, followed by Professor Martin Zobel, chairperson of the Estonian Research Council and the Baltic observer on the Nordic Research Board and Director Liisa Hakamies-Blomqvist of the new Nordic Research Board who will describe what the institution does.

Other Nordic speakers will include Head of Department Gard Titlestad of the Nordic Council of Ministers, Deputy Director of the .....

..... Nordic Innovation Centre Mads Peter Schreiber and Director of Nordic Energy Research, Birte Holst Jørgensen. Two other speakers from Estonia will be Jaanus Pikani of the Estonian Biotechnology Association who is also chairperson of ScanBalt and professor Rein Kuusik of Tallinn Technical University.
