On Sunday February 19, 2006 the Washington Estonian Society and St. Mark's Estonian Congregation in Washington will jointly commemorate the 88th anniversary of the independence of Estonia at the Latvian Lutheran Church, 400 Hurley Avenue, Rockville MD. At 3:00 P.M. there will be a church service conducted by the Rev. Heino Nurk, followed immediately by a commemorative program and reception in the church hall. The guest speaker will be the representative of the Embassy of Estonia in Washington.
Refreshments will be served.
Contribution for the program and reception : $15.00 per person; young people under 15 free of charge. Parking is available on the church parking lot. Please see directions below.

FROM VIRGINIA : Traveling on I-495 (Beltway) take exit 38 North to I-270...
FROM MARYLAND : Traveling on I-495 (Beltway) take exit 35 North to I-270...
On I-270 keep right - take the two outer lanes (LOCAL).
Follow I-270 until exit 6-B (Rt. 28 West) - go under the bridge and turn right toward Darnestown.
While on Rt. 28 keep left and at the second traffic light (Shell station at the corner) turn left into Hurley Ave.
Continue up the hill and in about 300 yards (through a small traffic circle) on the left is the Latvian Church.
Parking is about 300 yards past the building. Limited parking is also behind the church.
