TALLINN - The Estonian criminal investigation department have confiscated a record amount of top-grade cocaine and detained five citizens of Israel on charges of drug trafficking, department chief Lauri Tabur told Interfax on Thursday.
Police confiscated about 43 kilograms of Peruvian cocaine in Tallinn on October 11, he said. The drugs were hidden in a metal gear wheel that weighed 772 kilograms and was 1.5 meters in diameter, he said.
Israeli citizens set up a company in Estonia in September to import the gear wheel. The company did not do anything else, the source said.
