The largest beer festival of the Nordic countries - Õllesummer - takes place at the beginning of July each year in Tallinn at the Lauluväljak.
First and foremost Tallinna Lauluväljak is not only known as the arena for song festivals, but for other festivals, big concerts, exhibitions and various sports and cultural events as well. More than 10 different zones and stages are established on the Lauluväljak for Õllesummer every year, therefore the latter has developed into a major festival, consisting of different, smaller festivals. Besides the main stage, where Estonian bands make impressive performances, there are different zones for different people and tastes: in the children’s zone you will find a real children’s festival with a petting zoo, playgrounds and exciting games; teenagers are fascinated by the Youth Zone with extreme sports, break dancers and "hot" DJs. In the Jazz and Wine Garden a cosy environment has been established for those who prefer wine to beer and in the Folk Zone Estonian national culture and folk music is introduced. There are also large beer tents with their own music programmes, established by the largest beer producers of Estonia - Saku Saku Õlletehas and A. Le Coq from Tartu.
During the festival, the building in the Lauluväljak changes into a real beer palace, where more than 100 brands of beer from all over the world are represented.
Each year, approximately 80 000 people visit the festival.
We hope that you will make it too, to top this figure
