Estonian Air carried 41 346 passengers in November

Estonian Air carried in November on its regular routes to 16 destinations 40 890 passengers, plus 456 passengers on charter flights. The total number on regular routes for the 11 months of 2004 is 468 028 and on charter flights 37 128. When compared to year 2003, the passenger number has grown by more than a third.
For the first time in the 13 years of Estonian Air, the number of passenger carried in one year has exceeded half a million - the mark was crossed on November 26 on the Moscow Tallinn flight.
When compared to last year, the passenger number has grown on all 12 routes that were operated both in 2003 and 2004. This year, new routes to Munich, Gothenburg, Brussels and Dublin have been launched.
Estonian Air is operating the Tallinn-London (Gatwick) route for the tenth year; both the passenger number and the average load factor have been steadily growing. In November 2004, Estonian Air carried on the route 4696 passengers with the average load factor 63%; last November the respective numbers were 3547 and 61%. Estonian Air is also satisfied with the results on the other route faced with tough competition, Tallinn-Berlin, where the passenger number has grown from 1163 in November 2003 to 1287 last month.
Estonian Air has been encouraging passengers to book and purchase their tickets via Internet, and in November 2004 as many as 35% of all tickets were sold via www.estonian-air.com.
