Two victims engaged the company’s services and travelled to Perth from Estonia.
The four men involved with the company allegedly took control of the victims’ bank accounts and took possession of their passports. They then allegedly made threats to the two men for further money. The 28-year-old man has been charged with two counts of extortion.
He appeared in the East Perth Magistrates Court on Saturday and he will next appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on November 19. The three men already charged as part of the investigation will next appear in court in January.
