Tallinn ranked 47th most expensive city in the world; higher than Riga and Vilnius

Riga is the world's 52nd most expensive city, according to a study done by the Swiss bank UBS. Tallinn is ranked 47th and Vilnius 64th.

Tallinn is placed between Beijing and Budapest, Helsinki is on the 11^th.

A shopping basket of 122 goods and services was compared, that includes among other things apartment rent, electricity and heating bills, food products, clothes and public transport. The life is the most expensive in Oslo, Zürich, Tokyo, Geneva and Copenhagen.
