The Raadila Adventure Park, the first ever in Tartu, opened to the public on Wednesday after an entire year of construction.
ETV reported that 12 months ago, the current location of the adventure park was a gravel quarry, which before the construction could start had to be rid from 22 tons of waste.
The park currently has four climbing tracks for children and another four for adults, with the latter tracks located as high as 12 meters in the air.
So far, however, only half of the three-hectare piece of land belonging to the adventure park has been developed. According to Ragnar Kekkonen, head of the establishment, the rest of the territory will be utilized soon, with more climbing tracks and walls planned.
Construction of the facility has so far cost around 100,000 euros.
