Tallinn – At today’s cabinet meeting, the government approved the site-by-site distribution of new real estate investments in the budget strategy for 2013-2016.
Pursuant to the investment plan, the construction of the new Estonian National Museum building will be supported. Support will also go to construction of the rescue deport and united emergency services centre in Tallinn and Tartu, both of which are in the area of administration of the Ministry of the Interior.
Also a priority for the government is the development of the European IT agency building and the construction of the new Tallinn Prison.
The government also places importance on the construction of the new National Archives building as the existing premises no longer meet the requirements for preservation of records. The state will also allocate support for the addition to the large building of the Vanemuine Theatre.
