Bulgaria's national women's tennis team will have to play against Croatia and the hosts from Estonia in group 1 of the Europe/Africa zone of the Fed Cup tournament.
At the end of last week the captain of the national team Dora Rangelova and players Tsvetana Pironkova, Elitsa Kostova, Dalia Zafirova and Martina geldacheva left for the Estonian capital for the matches between 4 and 7 February.
The star representing the hosts is Kaia Kanepi, who is 24 in the WTA ranking list. The Estonians are among the most probable winners, with their second racket Maret Ani ranking 109.
The leading tennis player in Croatia is Yelena Kostanich, ranking 101.
A total of 15 teams take part in group 1 of the tournament. They were divided into four sub-groups. The winners in each group will have play-offs for determining the first two in the final positions, and in the summer will take part in additional play-offs for World Group 2.

Hello,
I'm conducting feminist research on how American foreign policy affects popular support for terrorism. I’m particularly interested in incorporating the views of women, non-whites, and people living outside of America and Western Europe, but all responses are invited and welcome. The survey can be accessed at
http://www.johnmaszka.com/SURVEY.html
I would really value your opinion and the opinion of your readers. Please take a moment and fill out the survey. The long-term goal of this project is to facilitate a more diplomatic American foreign policy in the years ahead.
Thank you,
John Maszka
