The amount of exports from Estonia grew during October compared to the figure for 12 months earlier, according to official figures.
Statistics Estonia found that exports grew by 13 per cent year-on-year, a figure for which Baltic Forestry could have been a factor, reports the Baltic Course.
The total value of exports for the month was 13.2 billion kroons, an increase of 1.5 billion from the same month last year.
Imports were found to have declined by three per cent year-on-year, a drop of 0.4 billion to 15.7 billion kroons.
The news provider reports: "In both exports and imports, the most important commodity section in October was machinery and equipment which accounted for about a fifth of both flows."
Baltic Course recently reported comments made by Toomas Hendrik Ilves to National Broadcasting which claimed the kroon will not be devalued if the nation creates sufficient revenue next year.
