Estonian developers dream about building a new business district in Tallinn

Tallinn City Government has initiated preparation of a detailed plan for the areas at Pärnu maantee 158 and Hallivanamehe tänav 4.

Postimees writes that the developer Age Vara is seeking to build several office business and commercial structures on these properties.

“This is a rapidly developing area where developer plan to create a new business centre for Tallinn,” said deputy Mayor of Tallinn Taavi Aas. “We in the city government support all those developers who are not afraid to develop office buildings and commercial structures in Tallinn in spite of difficult economic times.”

Under the detailed plan, the developer would be allowed to build an office building with 7 to 9 stories and up to a six-storey parking building at Pärnu maantee 158.

The detailed plan for the Hallivanamehe tänav 4 allows the developer Age Vara to develop an office building with up to 9 floors and two underground floors.
