Bird tourism could be developed in Estonia

Marika Mann, CEO of the travel agency Estonian Nature Tours specialized on bird watch and -study travels, said that bird tourism could be developed in Estonia more.

Estonian tourism developers are still too pessimistic about the opportunities and conservationists are too worried about the negative affect to the nature, Mann told Lääne Elu.

“Estonia has a lot to offer. There are many bird species in Estonia that don’t exist in Europe anymore or never have,” Mann said.

Soon the other countries will discover Estonia’s opportunities and the locals are just being ran over, she added.
