Former President of Estonia Rüütel celebrates his golden wedding anniversary

Former president Arnold Rüütel and his wife Ingrid Rüütel have been married for 50 years already, writes Postimees Online/LETA.

In order to celebrate the golden wedding anniversary the Presidential couple and 116 other couples from Tartu have been invited to a ceremony on Sunday where they will be congratulated by pastor Meego Remmel and by the Mayor of Tartu Urmas Kruuse.

For the third year in a row, an event of thanks will be organised to couples celebrating their golden wedding anniversary in the framework of the Tartu Day.
