* According to the information of the Statistic Department of Estonia, in June the volume of railway transportation increased year-on-year.
In June 2007, the volume of cargo transportation amounted to 5 mln tons, in June 2006 – to 4.9 mln tons, in May 2007 – 5.5 mln tons.
36.1 mln tons of cargoes were transported in six months of 2007.
There is a decrease of the quantity of freight trains which arrive to Estonia from Russia from 30 to 22 pairs per day.
