* The examining board has officially affirmed that the cause of the helicopter accident in August was a mistake in the copter’s control system. Tonu Ader from the examining board says that the main engine’s hydro amplifier got out of order and due to the rotor’s drastic angular change, the helicopter lost controllability.
The helicopter accident on August 10 backfired strongly for Copterline – its number of passengers decreased several times and the company was even considering ending flights. However, the airline has remained, but some workers have been dismissed and the number of flights decreased. The number of passengers has started to increase again and the winter season is going to be profitable for the company because fast speed vessels do not cruise at that time.
