Tallinn airport cares for its passengers

TALLINN : Postimees writes about passenger stations at night. Only one out of the city's four main stations (bus station, the Port of Tallinn, Balti Train Station and Tallinn airport) is passenger friendly. Tallinn International Airport is cooperating with the Tallinn City Enterprise Board, which means it is well run with its passengers well cared for. The airport terminal is the biggest of the passenger points, the cleanest and the warmest at night. It is possible to buy food, drinks, magazines and even souvenirs until midnight. Alcohol is sold until 11 pm. There is also an assistant to answer tourists' questions. The airport will not close its doors before all passengers have found shelter for the night. The situation is completely different elsewhere. At the port, it is not even possible to buy a cup of coffee in the late evening. Passengers must wait for the last trains and buses outside as the stations close for the night.
